Tracing: Dinosaur

The students took the before picture and imported it into Adobe Illustrator. They then traced the shape using the pen tool adding vextor points. The Dinosaur picture had three components to it; the students took each shape and colored it according to the original picture. Then the students imported the image into Adobe Photoshop and completed a composition.

Trace: YinYang Element

The students took the before picture and imported it into Adobe Illustrator. They then traced the shape using the pen tool adding vextor points. This shape consisted of more than one shape. The students used the pathfinder to combine the shapes into a single shape. The the image was imported into Photoshop and completed with a composition.

Artist's Note: I like this one espcially because of the anime pictures that I found to fit the elements; Earth, Water, Wind, Fire.

Trace: Charity Hands

The students took the before picture and imported it into Adobe Illustrator. They then traced the shape using the pen tool adding vextor points. The image was a bold outline, so the students had to use the pathfinder to donut-hole the image to fit the oringinal. The image was the imported into Adobe Photoshop and completed with a composition.

Artisit's Note: This composition, I think, is peaceful; even though it a charity symbol.
