Tracing Illustrator to Photoshop

After the students traced the shapes provided to them, they imported the traces into photoshop where they made a composittion. They included images from the internet, the traced icon and a word of meaning.

Picture Retouching of my Family Photo

For this project each student was told to bring in a photo with scratches, torn, folded, or blur. We then scanned the photograph and loaded it up in Photoshop 6.0. Using different tools such as the Cone Tool, the Text Tool, Color Balance, and Sharpen Tool. The end result was a fixed photograph.

Picture Retouching of a Torn Landscape Photograph

Mr. Caldwell gave the students a torn picture of a landscape. He then had the students scan the picture and upload it into Photoshop. In Photoshop we used tools, like the Clone Tool, to fix various areas in the torn photograph. Color balance was altered as well as the levels of colors. The end result was photograph appearing as if new.

Painted Self Portrait Using Brush Tools

Each student took a picture of each other, the uploaded it into Photoshop. In Photoshop, the student used Brush Tool (paintbrush and pencil) to their talents. The end result was a self portrait of the students creativity.

 

Composite: Honey I Shrunk the Kids

The students took pictures of people in their group and put them on their computer. There the students masked out the people and cut them out into a different enviornment. They then scaled the people to fit in the enviornment. Adding shadows to make it seem more realistic.

Text Montage Using the Text Tools

Mr. Caldwell asked each student to make a text montage of their families. Using names and titles (like Mom, Dad) the student altered the text to their liking. Creating depth and motion with the Transform Tool and Opacity Tool.

September 11 Montage Using Photos

On the 5th anniversary of September 11th, Mr. Caldwell as the students to creat a montage to what the event ment to them, or how it made them feel back in 2000.
